from March until June 2025

In this fun, seasonal course, you'll get to grow your very own veggies! We'll dig our hands into the earth, get our garden beds ready, and plant all the yummy things we love to eat. Plus, we’ll try out some exciting new veggies we’ve never seen before! Along the way, we’ll also meet our farm friends—goats, chickens, and runner ducks—and take care of them by feeding them and showing them lots of love. We might build cool huts up in the woods, make cozy homes for insects, create a worm compost bin, and watch our veggies grow tall and strong under the warm sun.

And on chilly afternoons, we’ll gather around the campfire, making bread on sticks or preparing soup, all while singing our English camp songs together—what a cozy way to end the day!

But that's not all! We’ll also take a special 'forest bath,' where I’ll guide you to fully enjoy the peaceful beauty of nature—feeling the sunshine through the leaves, listening to the trees rustle, and spotting little insects on our path. And in the heart of the forest, we’ll play exciting games like ‘Capture the Flag’ and ‘Sardines in a Box,’ along with lots of other fun outdoor activities!"

🌿🌞🌻

And guess what? While we’re having fun on the farm and in the forest, you’ll also be learning about sustainability and discovering new cultures! All our activities are led by native English and Spanish speakers, so you’ll get to practice speaking a new language as you communicate with the camp guides. They don’t speak much German, so you’ll find yourself chatting in English or Spanish without even realizing it! But don’t worry—Ellen will always be there to help translate if you need it, making it super easy and fun. So, whether we're playing cool forest games or working in the garden, you’ll be picking up English in the most exciting way!

Working with rather than against nature

Through play and experimentation, children learn how nature works.

What can you see, smell, hear, taste and/or feel? What has changed since the last time we were here? Let’s look more closely.

Where is it sunny or shady, wet or dry, windy or sheltered, fertile or infertile?

How can we save energy? How can we catch the rain, sun or wind?

It all begins with curiosity.
