"Art and Sound in Nature" is a creative workshop for children aged 10 to 14, where you can discover nature in a truly special way!
In this workshop, you will create Land Art pieces using natural materials, inspired by the famous artist Andy Goldsworthy. These artworks will serve as a foundation for designing your own vegetable garden. You will learn how to prepare garden beds, grow your own vegetables, and work alongside animals such as runner ducks, chickens, and goats, which help support the garden ecosystem. The creative combination of Land Art and gardening is especially exciting – you will collect stones, branches, leaves, and other natural materials to create artworks that interact with both nature and your garden bed.
Additionally, together with music teacher Anna Kleine-Horst from die Musikfabrik in Nümbrecht, you will compose a song using natural materials to create rhythmic sounds. At the end of the workshop, you will proudly perform this song for your parents.
Join us on a creative journey into nature – it will be an unforgettable experience!
This project is part of the Kulturrucksack NRW funding program in the Oberbergischer Kreis.
